Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant

Key responsibilities

  • Support AMS ticketing processes, including issue and problem management, bug fixing, change management, deployments, and upgrade testing.
  • Work with offshore and onshore teams on Oracle Supply Chain Cloud implementation and support engagements.
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle Cloud SCM functionality and configure the application for change requests and roll-outs.
  • Review development, test configurations and technical objects, document results, and complete quality assurance before deployment.
  • Test quarterly patch upgrades and support configurations, bug fixes, integrations, and automations.
  • Develop runbooks and provide functional guidance to technical teams during ticket resolution.

Skills and qualifications

  • 8–15 years of Oracle ERP experience, including at least two end-to-end implementations and production support projects.
  • Hands-on Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud experience with Procurement, Product Hub, Inventory, Order Management, and Costing.
  • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes and integration with other ERP Cloud modules.
  • Primary skills in Procurement Cloud, Inventory, Order Management, and Costing; Manufacturing and Pricing are secondary skills.
  • Oracle Fusion Procurement experience covering Purchasing, Purchasing Contracts, and Supplier Portals.
  • Strong diagnostics, troubleshooting, communication, agile delivery, and client-facing skills.
  • At least one Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Cloud certification.
  • Willingness to work late IST hours when overlap with the client IT team is required.

  • Gather and document system requirements, reporting needs, user interfaces, logical system flows, and implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with auditors on SOX controls and with solution partners, vendors, and SaaS providers on timely delivery.

  • Work with business users to clarify requirements and provide timely support during month-end and quarter-end activities.

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, or an MCA.

  • More than eight years of Oracle Applications functional experience in OM, PO, INV, Shipping, Pricing, WMS, or related Distribution modules.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in technical, functional, and escalated situations.
  • Knowledge of multi-organization and multi-set-of-books environments.
  • Exposure to Cloud implementations, iSupplier, iProcurement, EDI, legacy data conversions, or third-party integrations is an advantage.
